For this reason, in 2013, “Paz y Esperanza” carried out an investigation on the presence of violence within evangelical families in four cities of Peru (Lima, Andahuaylas, Huanuco, and Moyobamba). The purpose of the study, titled “Within Four Walls” (in Spanish, Dentro de las cuatro paredes- IDCP), is to promote better pastoral practices in dealing with families, in order to effectively combat domestic violence between men and women, and especially to provide protection for children.
